Large pics/images allowed in sig

Check out my sig. It's limiting the length of the url string, but the image dimensions.size seem unrestricted.

I used to have a set of 'forum usage guidelines' and avatar size was one of them. It turns out the site is still around, and so are the usage guidelines!
